  4. @eric I suggest you buy a copy of "Outsmarting Google: SEO Secrets to Winning New Business," by Evan Bailyn. Absolutely everyone will understand this SEO book, but don't let the great job of communicating fool you into thinking it's an "easy book" and perhaps not sophisticated. The author is an expert and you'll learn exactly how SEO can help your business. Best of luck to you!

  5. @marketingcampaigns - One way to measure increases in brand awareness is to use Google Analytics to produce a list of the search phrases people use to find your web site. People searching for your brand terms (such as your company name) are aware of your brand. If these searches bring in more and more visitors you are seeing an increase in brand awareness.

    Regarding "improved attitude," I believe you can learn how to measure it by doing a Google search for "sentiment analysis." One good article on this topic is:
